Native Youth Arts Collective

The Native Youth Arts Collective (NYAC) is a group of Native teens and young adult artists residing in the Little Earth and East Phillips neighborhoods in Minneapolis.

NYAC artists have been featured by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Walker Art Center.

Collaboration is key.

The Native Youth Arts Collective designed and completed a stunning mural in partnership with the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Native Representation.

Representation is vital. NYAC has worked with various partners, including the City of Minneapolis Public Works, to ensure our community is seen and heard through art. Special thanks to our funder Minnesota State Arts Board Arts and Cultural Heritage fund for making this possible.

Chi-Miigwech to our funding partners for supporting the work of the Native Youth Arts Collective at Little Earth. These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
