College Success & Employment Navigation

If you are interested in this program and would like to be considered, please contact: Wahbon Spears at 612.455.2808 or email wahbon.spears@learth.org   The College Success and Employment Navigation program prepares students and non-traditional students for success in post-secondary education in the form of college application/scholarship assistance and resources for employment after graduation.   There are currently 45 Native American students participating in the program. Each student is an enrolled member from the following tribes: White Earth, Red Lake, Oglala Lakota Nation, Crow Creek, Standing Rock, Grand Portage, Le Courte Oreilles, Yankton Sioux, Cheyenne River, Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara, Comanche Nation, Rosebud and Mille Lacs.   These students have applied to the following institutions:  Summit Academy OIC, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, American Indian OIC, Augsburg College, Hennepin Technical College, Brown College, the University of Minnesota, Metropolitan State University, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Haskell University, St. Thomas University, Normandale Community College and New York University..
